Primary Care Customer Service? NPR Reports

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

NPR has been airing a series of radio articles this week entitled: Sick in America.

The latest focuses on the relationship between the time and attention that a primary care physician gives a patient and the amount of care the patient actually receives (and perceives.)

One physician interviewed used to spend a maximum of 15 minutes with patients in an office visit, now it’s at least 20.

The episode, which aired on Thursday, is available  here.
